Biography

A local singing group of 6 women specializing in traditional, folk & original music – family entertainment. The Split Peas have been performing since 1993 in Newfoundland and have been featured on CBC’s Land & Sea; Musicraft; Breakfast TV in Toronto’ and their arrangement of “Ise the Bye” was aired in the movie “The Shipping News”. Also performed at the Folk Harbour Festival in Lunenburg, NS and in Stratford, ON.
