Have you ever wondered how virtual reality imagery get created? Here is an opportunity to learn how from a young student tutor with extensive coding experience.
Join creator and coding instructor Mayya Panfilova for a hands-on workshop where participants will try and recreate the picturesque coast of Twillingate in Virtual Reality (VR) using A-Frame. A-Frame is a web framework for building virtual reality experiences which is based in HTML.
Attendees will be introduced to immersive storytelling using VR, and get the knowledge necessary to continue building projects of their own.
The goal of this workshop is to introduce participants to a new channel for creativity and self-expression. Participants will be able to see how each line of code affects their 3D space every step of the way.
Audience: General. High School students.
Participant skill level: This workshop is designed for beginners – no previous knowledge of virtual reality or coding is necessary!
