Chef Nick Jewczyk is an award winning graduate of the prestigious Pacific Institute of Culinary Arts on Granville Island, Vancouver. Nick’s formal studies fortified his foundation and lifelong fascination in the field of Culinary Arts.
With local ingredients as his medium, Nick honed his creative skills through reviving classic dishes at some of Vancouver’s most popular foodie destinations, fusing a passion for local products and innovative techniques. More recently, Nick was the executive chef at The Fifth Ticket and cooked at other prominent St. John’s restaurants such as the award-winning Bacalao.
In 2017 Nick was the regional winner of the Gold Medal Plates culinary competition and competed in Kelowna BC at the nationals. Nick and his partner, Casey, live in St. John’s with their two little boys. He will be leading the team during the annual From The Bog and the Bay feast at #Unscripted2018
